With V&D it was instant chemistry! They told me about their dream of love and their strong desire to get married in their beloved valley, surrounded by loved ones, with a super joyous celebration.
And so, we had a wedding at the Castello di Mesocco!
Few words and my mind started to create the scenography for the most beautiful day. A vision that V&D gave me the opportunity to realise with great confidence: the marquee of the Mesocco Castle transformed into an extension of the front garden. The end result was so enchanting that it can only be fully recounted through Marika Brusorio‘s wonderful shots!
Wedding planning goes through many aspects, of which the scenic part is the most visible to all. But behind the magic of the location and the happiness of the bride and the groom there is so much more, which is often unseen.
The V&D ceremony was special: it was initially planned on the lawn, with a partly religious and partly secular service softened by the singing of the bride and groom’s schoolchildren. But, as you know, a wedding planner is called upon to handle unforeseen events in a timely and creative manner: thus, due to sudden rain, my team and I promptly rearranged the setting for the ceremony indoors, allowing the couple to prepare without worries – especially the bride, in her beautiful Altea Lugano dress.
Two different spaces were created at the castle: the garden was decorated with total white detail, while the interior with dark, pedominantly wooden furniture in shades of black and green. We then added moss, candles and branches, also with the help of Dahra Living, to create an evocative atmosphere with natural charm. The reception also contributed to making the day special, thanks to the skill of Carlo Stroppini‘s catering.
I still remember the wonder and joy in the bride and groom’s eyes, and my happiness at having realised another dream of love.
