A young couple, united by their love for mountains, hiking, and nature, sought the perfect venue. The answer came in the form of the Cave di Arzo.
A fascinating yet completely blank canvas, the venue offered nothing but the dramatic quarry scenery. From there began our creative challenge: we installed a large marquee, organized the catering space with Ape20, brought in necessary facilities, and carefully styled both the interior and exterior, enhanced by Elisa Donati’s flowers and Eventopolis SA’s furniture.
As the project progressed, an idea made everything even more personal: bringing the grandmothers’ vintage furniture into the tent. With just a few touches, magic came to life. Corners of memory, fragments of the past blending with the present, evoking the warmth and scent of home.
Fortunately, the weather was generous: a surprisingly bright October day accompanied us throughout. The ceremony at San Giorgio Church in Morbio Inferiore eliminated the need for a backup plan, though we were ready for anything.
Every detail reflected their vision: plantable invitations in line with the nature theme, wildflowers, and a lunch of seasonal, locally sourced specialties—simple, genuine, and authentic, just like them.
The bride was made up by Trucchiamoci Make Up & More, the graphics were thoughtfully crafted by Noemi Russo, and the beautiful photos capturing every emotion were taken by Sharon Scimé.
The memory that stands out most for me is friendship. Being part of that circle of family and friends—even briefly—working together with enthusiasm from setup to dismantling, was truly special.
I always say my work is like a journey alongside my couples: temporary, yet leaving deep traces. This journey, between quarries and sky, will stay in my heart forever.
